Team Leader
Author: David Diaz
You’ve been playing paintball for probably a year now. Always going with your friends or perhaps even by yourself joining the walk on games. You also own your own gear and you understand how to maintain your that gear.

You understand how to play paintball beyond the premise of shoot that guy before he shoots me. Your experience now allows you to be a team leader and begin to organize group play and bring in new friends or family into the game of paintball. Organizing a successful outing is not for everyone and it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to accomplish. However, there are a lot of things to do to make it as successful as possible.

Many paintball parks offer all inclusive packages for a group that has at least 20 participants however this can vary from park to park. The best thing to do would be to call the park you’re interested in attending and ask about the deals they offer. After doing your research you should now focus your attention to finding interested participants. You can get co-workers, friends, and family to play and answer any and all questions they may have about the outing especially if they have never played before. When you decide on a date, it should give you enough time to prepare everything. I always recommend at least 2 months in advance. This allows people interested to get time off work and/or save up money. To keep the momentum going, you should set up flyers with recommended clothing to wear and what to bring such as lunch, water, and Gatorade. You should also set up deadlines along the way to make sure everyone is keeping up and if someone isn’t able to make it another person can jump in the group. Setting up a group of more than 30 players is really a hard task to accomplish. Also if you don’t set up deadlines you may not have the money for the deposit to hold your spot most parks require. Also hunting down people who may only be semi interested is very difficult. Always try to convince someone on the fence of all the fun and excitement he or she can have playing paintball.

With proper preparation, you can have a fun and exciting adventure and introduce some new friends to the game of paintball.
